Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Santa didn't wrap my presents and that's how we differentiated between Santa presents and non-Santa presents. < - Huh. I never considered that idea. My parents always wrapped them, just in different paper.
Colored lights on tree / house or white?
I like colored lights on the house, white on the tree, because we always do a silver / white and blue theme.
Do you hang mistletoe?
Nope.
When do you hang your decorations up?
Usually the day after Thanksgiving.
What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE.
Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Probably when my sister and I got our Barbie camper, ha
What is on your Christmas wish list?
Mostly coloring books and coloring utensils. I also have a Sphero BB-8 on there, bluetooth speakers so I can better hear movies / shows in the bath, and an Amazon Echo for no good reason beyond it seeming neat to me. Plus, that takes care of the need for the speakers. Also, gift cards and money.
Do you open a gifts on Christmas Eve?
No.
How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
Silver / white and blue ornaments. We also have a small fiber optic tree that we decorate with character ornaments.
Snow? Love it or dread it?
I LOVE snow.
Real tree or fake tree?
Fake.
Do you remember your favorite gift?
My Nikon camera from last year, although I haven't put it to much use.
What’s the most important thing about Christmas for you?
Family.
What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Sugar cookies.
What is your favorite tradition?
Stockings, decorating after Thanksgiving, sendin out cards, and I'm already loving this book advent calendar idea even though it's not yet started. I almost have all the books I need [shout out to Sunflower & MommaZ & Kaitee for contributing! :P].
What tops your tree?
The last few years, we haven't had a tree topper because the tree was too tall, but maybe that won't be an issue this year? I'm not sure. Guess it depends on which room we do it in. At this point, it'll likely go in my writing room [which I am secretly ecstatic about] because we don't have doors on the downstairs office, and lack of doors = easy cat access to tree = fallen tree and / or ornaments.
Do you prefer giving or receiving?
Giving! I love seeing the reaction on people's faces when they open a gift, especially when it's something I know they've been hoping for.
What is your favorite Christmas song?
Holly Jolly Christmas, Carol of the Bells, You're a Mean One Mister Grinch.

Yum!

Elf, The Santa Clause, The Nightmare before Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
What do you leave for Santa?
Milk and cookies for Santa. We always let Em pick the cookies. We take her to the grocery store and let her pick whatever flavor she thinks Santa will like. First year that she was old enough to understand the concept, it was lemon cookies. Last couple, it's been rainbow M&M cookies. Wonder what she'll pick this year.

We kind of just wake up and do our thing.
