How long is it till christmas day?
Sixteen days. Wtf.
Are you looking forward to it?
Sometimes I am, other times I'm not. For me, I find the suspense and anticipation of an oncoming Christmas more exciting than the events of the actual day. Because then it's just all over.
Who do you celebrate it with?
I'll be celebrating with Adam, Emily, and Kyle this year. I'm so glad Kyle will be a part of it!
What presents are you hoping for?
I think Kyle may have gotten me Pokemon Moon, which is something I would definitely like to find under the tree.
What presents are you gonna get?
I don't know? I'm not psychic.
Have you done all your Christmas shopping?
After I buy Zacci's gift card [which I almost did last night after I finished working -- and by the way I finished writing the book! -- but Amazon needed me to re-enter my card information and it wasn't up here so I'll do that later, if I have time], all I will need is something for my grandparents, Tina and Katee. I also have some other small things to get for everyone I've already taken care of.
What did you buy people?
Excluding those that might read this [in other words, Sunflower, since Zacci already knows she's getting a gift card] :
Emily - lots of books, eight Frozen puzzles [came in a huge pack of eight], several pairs of pajamas, movies, Littlest Pet Shop toys, a new Kindle because omfg do I hate her iPad and it doesn't have FreeTime like Kindle does, a board game. That isn't including what Santa got her, also.
Adam - I got him a twenty-nine inch monitor while it was on sale during Black Friday.
Kyle - three Skylanders crystals, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coloring book.
Mom - one hundred gel pens and a World of Warcraft coloring book.
Maliah - two books and three Monster High minis.
Charolee - an eight-story collection of Palace Pets book and two Palace Pets toys.
And I also got a couple things for my friend Melanie's son, because I know she is in a tough spot and won't be able to afford much for Christmas this year. He loves Thomas the Train, so I got him an eight-story collection of Thomas books and some Playdoh. If it wasn't already obvious, I like to gift books to children, haha.
Do you stay up or go to bed early on Christmas Eve?
I don't stay up any later than usual.
What time do you usually get up on Christmas day?
Around eight.
What happens on a typical Christmas day for you?
Wake up, open stockings, open presents, eat breakfast, prepare dinner food, unpackage presents while dinner cooks, watch Christmas movies.
Will this year be like that?
Yep.
Do you love Christmas dinner?
I DO!
What will you be having this year for Christmas dinner?
Ham, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls, pie.
What do you usually get in your stocking?
Candy that I typically buy for myself, ha.
Favourite thing about Christmas day?
Watching others open my gifts to them :]
Favourite part of Christmas dinner?
HAM AND POTATOES AND CRANBERRY SAUCE.
Favourite Christmas chocolates?
There are Christmas chocolates?
Do you drink on Christmas? (alcoholic)
No.
Do you have a Christmas jumper?
Nope.
Do you believe in Santa?
No. Are there people my age who still believe in Santa?
Favourite Christmas song?
Wonderful Christmas Time, Holly Jolly Christmas, You're a Mean One Mister Grinch.
Who do you want to kiss under mistletoe?
Adam.
Do you have a live or fake tree?
Fake.
Do you send Christmas cards?
Yep. I need to finish getting addresses and find my stamps ...
Ever had snow on Christmas?
No.
Ever done Secret Santa?
That's what my family used to do in recent years, in order to save money all around.
A Christmas memory?
Pushing a tiny Emily around on the push tricycle Grams and Grandpa got her. She went around saying 'whee' while I went from one end of the duplex to the other.
