Five thousand, six hundred and seventy-nine

Do you often rely on your gut instinct? Sometimes.
When and why did you move out of your parents' home? I moved out when I was seventeen, because I wanted to be able to live with Adam. The plan was for me to move in with him when I turned eighteen. In April 2006, my dad and Adam's mom were making arrangements for me to visit Adam in Tennesee. Instead, my parents decided that I could just go ahead and move since I was going to anyway in six months.
Have you ever tried to be friends with someone who broke your heart? Nope.
What is the best thing about your life right now? My relationship, my family, my job, my house, my kitties.
Did you do any sports or extra-curricular activities as a child? Nope.
Have you ever had an ex that was seemingly obsessed with you? Alternatively, have you ever been the obsessive ex? Fortunately not.
How was your second serious relationship different from your first? Did you approach relationships differently with some experience under your belt? My relationship with Adam is my first and only serious one. I may have had a boyfriend before him, and that "relationship" may have lasted a little over a year, but it was nowhere near serious.
Whose death affected you the most? My dad's.
Have you ever been labelled 'promiscuous' or 'slutty'? How did that affect you? No.
How are you similar to / different from your siblings? My brother and I are similar in that we share the same sense of humor, interest in games, and we share a lot of other interests. There isn't much at all that my sister and I have in common.
Have you ever been to counselling? I went to counseling as a child when I was thought to be suffering from depression [or, as some would suggest, I was retarded. Their words, not mine], when I was actually suffering from anxiety. I guess you could say my therapist at the time wasn't a very good one. It wasn't until later on, after much research, that I was able to identify my own symptoms. Later in life, I was officially diagnosed with panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Depression was also a factor, but not when I was a child as previously suspected.
Have you ever been attracted to a member of the same sex? I have not been sexually attracted to a woman, no. I appreciate the beauty of some women, however. If that makes sense?
Do you regret anything about your last relationship? Not exactly, but I do wish it had never happened because it was a waste of time and emotion.
If you suffer from any kind of illness / disorder: if you were able, would you choose to cure yourself? Why or why not? Obviously, I would. Who wouldn't? My mental disorders have interrupted so much of my life, I would be glad to be rid of it.
Have you ever had an STD? No.
What books have made you cry? I have never cried due to a book. I've been saddened by events in a book, but never cried.
What was the best time you've had with a complete stranger? When I was on my flight to Tennessee, in 2006, there was an older woman [probably around the age I am now] who was making origami cranes. We had a nice conversation.
Is there anything that someone in your past has said that still affects you today? When my grandmother told me my voice was too quiet to sing, and basically ruined singing for me. I used to sing all the time. I loved it and still do, but now I basically never do it. Especially around other people.
Have you ever dealt with mismatched levels of affection in a relationship (for example, you cared about them more than they cared about you or vice versa)? I don't think so.
Who has seen you at your absolute worst? How did your relationship change afterwards? Adam.
What is your closest platonic friendship? Kyle and Sunflower.
What is the best wedding you've been to? What about the worst? My own. I'd only ever been to one other, and there was nothing wrong with it.
Have you ever had a successful friends with benefits situation? Were you able to stay friends afterwards? No.
What is your go-to meal when you have guests? It depends on what they want? Usually I go out with people, rather than have them eat at my place.
Have you ever discussed having an open relationship with a partner? No.
Are you more comfortable hearing compliments from a certain gender? I don't know.
At which point in your life were you the most healthy? The least? I don't know.
How are you currently trying to better yourself? Yes and no.
Does / has anyone close to you have / ever had an eating disorder / mental illness / etc.? I had an eating disorder when I was a teenager, that continues to haunt me in ways even now, but I try not to act upon those urges. Almost everyone I am close to has a mental illness of some variety or another.
