The last time I hung out with Kyle, we played Portal Knights. With Katee, we chatted at my mom's apartment before Adam, Emily and I departed for Indiana.
Have you ever been so lonely, you cried?
Yes. Particularly when Adam had to leave for Tennessee for his Mamaw's funeral. I was pregnant with Emily and all alone in our apartment. My family had moved to Tucson a few months prior, so I literally had no one there to accompany me.
Have you ever given homeless people money?
Once, at least.

Have you ever tried so hard to save up for something, but it was too hard?
Nope. I saved up almost fifty thousand dollars last year in order to be able to afford my house! Now, though, saving money is a bit of a struggle, but that is no fault of my own, nor Adam's. Things have been gradually falling apart in the house, which isn't a huge surprise, since most of the appliances have been here for eleven years. We had to replace the washing machine and dryer late last year. Refrigerator and dishwasher this year. The floor in the living room was soiled with dog fecal matter and urine from the previous owners. When we first moved in, we paid four hundred dollars for Stanley Steamer to clean the carpets. Their pet-specific product didn't help at all. Stains were, in fact, more visible and aromatic. We got a refund for the pet product used, at least. Because of this smell, Aries and Lyra started using the living room floor as a litterbox. Especially Aries. He'd crap on it almost nightly. I scrubbed, tried various methods of cleaner, even made my own, all to no avail. So our only option was to live with crap-stained carpet or remove it. We removed it. Then we spent months deciding on a new floor. We decided to redo the carpet with laminate. In order to save money, we opted to install ourselves. It's been a struggle, but a learning experience, and we get to say 'Hey, we did this!' when it's all done. During the uninstallation process, we discovered that the bloody water is leaking and needs replaced! Yay! There's another thousand dollars I didn't want to spend, but have to. This wouldn't be a huge problem, considering we have enough money in the bank to cover these things, but come tax time, we have to pay our taxes. Self-employment tax is terrible. I get depressed every time tax season comes about. A huge chunk of what we have saved will just be gone. Poof. I am afraid for how much it will leave us with.
